As January draws to a damp and blustery end my update includes a watery theme . Below 'water-break-it's-neck' in the Radnor Forest. One of the hidden Jewels of Powys - a mini orientiering exercise to locate but well marked on an Ordinance Survey Map. certainly worth a visit on a dark damp Sunday - oh and be prepared to get your feet wet -- ooops !
( grid ref : SO183601 sheet 148 )
Below a photo taken from the Rhayader to llangurig road , the colours of the trees standing out well in what can be the bleakest time of the year. The river also very prominent in its flood state.
