Weatherpictures originally appeared during the late Autumn of 1999 as a Photography website.I have always been interested in 35 mm Processing always having my own darkroom and always getting into trouble for Bleach fix stains on the Kitchen sink - I have never looked back on the day I decided to buy a Digital Camera - I had previously never really found a use for a P.C. and only started to gain some knowledge as a Necessity when my nieces were expecting uncle Ian to fix theirs ! The disadvantage of reduced resolution over 35 mm format was a small price to pay for the staggering advantages of immediate results .
I now use a 3 megapixel resolution Camera which is already outdated with many 5 and 6 megapixel cameras on the market now.
with the website upgrade you can also see views of local towns here in mid wales , it is not my intention to do the History thing as there are many websites giving that info if required - I have just captured what are my personal choice of the individual towns good views.
The earlier photographs on weatherpictures were taken using an Epson 750z camera - I now use a Nikon Coolpix 990 ( 3.34 mpxl ).I have started a Digital Photography page on a basic level .Weekly updates are available from the old weeks links and span almost two years , at time of writing updates are limited to monthly , Hope you enjoy..
